Eco-Friendly Approach

eliminates bacteria, odours and pests

  • Step 1: Pre-Treatment

Before cleaning, we remove any large waste debris from your bin and use a pressure washer to rinse out the bin’s interior. We use plain water for initial rinsing. If a deeper clean is needed we apply a solution of vinegar and water (natural disinfectant) for soaking.

  • Step 2: Disinfection

We apply an eco-friendly disinfectant (such as plant-based or hydrogen peroxide cleaner) to the bin’s surface. We spray Seventh Generation Disinfectant or Method Antibacterial cleaner generously inside the bin, focusing on the bottom where bacteria thrive. These disinfectants kill bacteria such as E. coli, Salmonella, and Listeria on contact without harming the environment. .

  • Step 3: Odour and Organic Waste Breakdown

To eliminate odours and break down organic matter, we apply a bio-enzyme cleaner. This will also help prevent the return of bacteria by digesting residual waste. We Use Ecozone Enzymatic Bin Cleaner or Biokleen Bac-Out, which use enzymes to remove food-based stains and odours. These cleaners reduce odours from decaying waste, prevent maggots, and naturally remove grease or food residue.

  • Step 4: Deodorise

We apply a final eco-friendly deodorising spray to leave a fresh, non-chemical scent in your bin. We use eco-friendly products like Ecover Odour Neutraliser, which uses plant-based ingredients to neutralise odours.
